The condition is restored by fertilisation.
- The diploid condition of an angiosperm is re-established by fertilization.
- During meiosis the cell generates germ cells, each containing a large portion of the ordinary or a substantial number of chromosomes. This condition is called haploidy.
- At the point when two germ cells, such as the egg and sperm join together, the diploid condition is reestablished. Both are the haploid wires to frame the diploid zygote which is the primary diploid cell.
