This is unethical and destroys the worth of a marriage.Since,brides(Girls) are subjected to it so parents of the girls are unable to pay the dowry and start discriminating between the genders.

dowry is always taken by the family of men from the family of woman . it causes gender discrimination as only men are allowed by our society ........
