So the difference is: 1, boiling can occurs everywhere, depending on the heat source. Whereas evaporation only takes place at surface of the liquid. 2, boiling requires certain temperature at certain pressure, and continuous heating source, while evaporation works at any temperature and pressure.

1.evaporation causes cooling, boiling does not. 2.evaporation is a surface phenomena, boiling is a bulk phenomena. 3.evaporation can take place at any temperature below boiling point, boiling can take place only when the boiling point of the liquid is reached. 4.evaporation can be slow or fast at different temperature, the speed of boiling remains same but the conversion of liquid into gas becomes fast at high temperature. 5.Rate of evaporation changes by factors like changing temperature, surface area, wind speed, humidity whereas rate of boiling does not change with change in temperature, surface area, wind speed etc, however addition of impurities in liquid increase their boiling point.
