Natural selection refers to the process by which the dominant
phenotypic characters of parents gets inherited by the offspring.
So the offspring shows some variation when compared to the parents.
This variations accumulate over time nd this variation helps the offspring survive better in their habitat..therefore this trait spreads over time nd thus becomes popular.
Therefore evolution is a consequence of natural selection....
