The federation is practiced in INDIA as
# Administration of subjects which are of national importance and require uniformity in administration are given in the hands of the central government, while subjects of the local importance or day to day administration are given to the states.
# Both these levels of the government enjoy their power independent of each other. Such a system exists in India, USA etc.
# The fundamental provisions of the constitution cannot be unilaterally changed by one level of the government.
# Sources of revenue of each level of the government are clearly specified to ensure its financial autonomy.

Hope it will help you

Answer:

Federalism in India is practised by the creation of linguistic states ,language policy and centre state relations.

Linguistic states:- in 1947 ,the boundaries of several old states were changed in order to create new states . This was done to ensure that people who spoke the same language lived in the same state .
