The fabric usually used in the clothes we wear is produced through two processes: the 'spinning process', whereas raw cotton is turned into thread and the 'weaving process', where the thread is woven into fabric.
Now,
The spinning process, the compressed staple fibre delivered to the spinning plant is unraveled using a mixing and blowing machine. It is then cleaned by removing substance such as leaves, seeds to it. Finally, the staple fibre is processed into sheet-shaped 'lap'. Now the process of the machine continues upto the final stage.

Weaving is done on a device called loom. Some looms are operated by hand while some are run by electricity. Knitting is a process of interlacing theard or yarn to from connecting looms. It is done either by long needel or knitting machines.
