1. At least 10% of India's recorded wild floura and 20% of it's mammals are on the threatened list.
2. The cheetah,pink headed duck,mountain quail,forest spotted owlet and plant like madhuca insigns and hubbardia heptaneuron have already been categoriesed as critical.
3. Many smaller animals like insects and plants habe become extinct.

Flora and Fauna in India are under great threat mainly because of the following reasons:-
- Due to an increase in insensitivity in our environment, the Flora and Fauna of India are under great threat.
- This changing environment has led extinction of many insects and small animals.
- While some other animals and plants are at high risk of extension because of changing false climate.
- Secondly, Increase in pollution and industrialization has also contributed to the loss of Flora and Fauna.
- Third, Habitat destruction of plants and animals has also led to the extinction of the species.
- Deforestation not only causes the loss of plants but also the homes of many animals which further die because of lack of shelter and food.
So, these are some major points because our Flora and Fauna in India are under great threat.
