In both endocytosis is performed to digest their food in amoeba phagocytosis and pinocytosis both occurs while in paramecium only phagocytosis occurs...amoeba uses both so it engulf the food in phagocytosis...the food particle inside its cell digests in the fokd vacuole in the presence of enzymes
