Answer:

The transport of food from the leaves to the other parts of theplant occurs through the vascular tissue called phloem. The food(sugar) made in leaves is loaded into the sieve tubes of phloem tissue by using the energy derived from ATP.

Answer:

Here is your answer...

1. The transport of food in plants is called translocation.

2. It takes place with the help of a conducting tissue called phloem.

3. Phloem transports glucose, amino acidsand other substances from leaves to root, shoot, fruits and seeds.

4. This pressure moves the material in the phloem to tissues which have less pressure.

Hope it helps^^
