How is french revoution bad for people at that time?
Answers
Bad. Sure, it did some good things - but nothing that couldn't have been done another, better way.
It was slaughter, terror and utter insanity. That takes a hell of a lot of justifying. I propose that, while not peaceful by any means, the Magna Carta and English civil war were better ways to achieve similar aims. Ditto the Renaissance in Italy.
One comment mentions ending serfdom: Serfdom had been a thing of the past for centuries in England by the time the Revolution came along.
Another says it was bad for Royalists: no, it was bad for everyone. Everyone was at serious risk of being killed for that time period as people became paranoid, power hungry and cavalier about the value of life. The politics of the time were extremely volatile.
It was very, very bad, and the situations that forced it to come about are ones which we can all learn from, to strenuously avoid making the same mistakes again.
