Both frequency array and frequency distribution show the arrangement of data, with frequency as variables corresponding to different values of some X-variable. The difference lies in the fact that in case of a frequency arrays, the X-variable must be discrete variable. In case of a frequency distribution, X-variable is not a discrete variable; rather it is a distribution with different class intervals.
