The rougher the surfaces the more often “hills” will have to push over each other, and the steeper those hills will be. For most practical purposes friction is caused by the physical roughness of the surfaces involved. However, even if you make a surface perfectly smooth there's still some friction

☆Actually welcome to the concept of the Lubrication in the Oppostion as for the friction......

☆Basically we know ..that friction is both a freind and foe .......

☆It becomes foe when it acts unnecessarily in between two surface which are in contact for smooth continuous work .......like the wheels or the grips in the machines .....

☆A continuous friction can damage and totally degrade the machine .....thus lubrication of graphite is done to pause or totally prevent the friction bet when them .......

☆Thus in many cases ...the only one solution is only the Lubrication to avoid the Friction .....
