Frictional unemployment occurs when workers are trying to change their jobs. During this period, while they are looking for better jobs, they remain unemployed this period is called natural rate of unemployment which is good for any healthy economy.


Therefore frictional unemployment plays a huge role in natural rate of unemployment so both are related.
