Fuel economy is the distance travelled per unit volume of fuel used; for example, kilometres per litre (km/L) or miles per gallon (MPG), where 1 MPG (imperial) ≈ 0.354006 km/L. In this case, the higher the value, the more economic a vehicle is (the more distance it can travel with a certain volume of fuel).

hope it helps u

Fuel efficiency is measured in litre/100 km.

Tanzim: SI unit of fuel efficiency
harshjainn2003: Its just litre/100 km
Tanzim: Then what is MPG
harshjainn2003: Mpg is miles per gallon
harshjainn2003: It is not the si unit
Tanzim: Oh
Tanzim: Thanks
harshjainn2003: It helps us to calculate fuel efficiency
Tanzim: Hmm...
harshjainn2003: Ur welcome
