❣❣Hola mate❣❣

Geothermal energy is the thermal energy generated and stored in the earth. Resources of this energy range from the shallow ground to hot water and hot rock found a few miles beneath the earth's surface and down even deeper to the extremely high temperature of molten rock called magma. This geothermal energy can be used for space heating or for boiling water and generate steam to drive turbogenerators.

The energy which is generated by utilising the heat of the earth's interior is called geothermal energy.

Answer:

Geothermal power plants use steam to produce electricity. The steam comes from reservoirs of hot water found a few miles or more below the earth's surface. The steam rotates a turbine that activates a generator, which produces electricity.
