1)Grafting is a type of artificial vegetative proportion.

2)It is the process in which two closely related plants are taken to form better plant and also allows variation in plants.

3)It is the process in which root system of one plant called stock is taken and shoot system of another plant called scion is taken.

4)The stock and scion system are cut in such a way that both the stock and scion join together without living gap mostly they are cut in slant way.

5)When they are cut they are joined together by a thread and all nutrients pass through stock and scion.
