Even though your topic seems simple one liner but it's in-depth meaning lying in it requires enlarged explanation. However i will make it simple and straight.

Let me begin my saying how water polluted first later I'll conclude why it pose detrimental affect on environment.

1. Maximum amount of water which is available now a days comes from rainfall or in some areas it's usually bright by floods.

2. Some areas which have never seen rain or have nominally experience rainfall will get water by lifting water from areas which are surplous.

3.In certain area where there is no possibility to transfer water at all will be supplied from oceans by desalinating or deminerilisation and making the water potable.

Now, let me jump to issues to environment due to ground water.

1. All the industrial wastes without unrelated or semi treated were being released into ponds, rivers or oceans. This means that these water released contains heavy metals and dangerous cancer causing elements which cannot be filtered or processed will remain intact and ultimately consumed by common man.

2. Secondly, trees or small edible leafy vegetables or any edible parts of tree ultimately uses ground water for its development. unfortunately, this ground water is mixed with poisonous chemicals and carcinogenic agents which eventually eaten away by humans and animals.

3. Lastly, all animals which we eat sheep, goat and birds which are eaten usually like chicken and some may eat wide variety of animals and birds. All these will consume ground water or even some times we may not assume what type of water they eat for their development.

All the aforementioned sources of incoming waters are contaminated by some means which can illustrated by some examples:

- unused paints or thrown away paints contains metals
- industrial efluents
- plastic wastes which degrades into water gradually

All in all, entire ecosystem is polluted which is clearly evident by the statistics and also entire environment activists thriving and protesting for it to help future generations.
