Grover brought Annabeth, Thalia, and Luke To Camp Half Blood. ... This is part of the reason why Grover was so scared for Percy in The Lightning Thief. Grover is pretty much one of Annabeth's only family, and after Luke betrayed them and Thalia 'died', Grover is one of the only family Annabeth has left.
