The study of Horticulture is blessing to mankind for the following reasons:
1. It provides us with the food we eat and fruits and vegetables and crops that are of high nutritional values are grown and our health is improved.
2.It provides employment opportunities for the people who work in the fields.
3. It saves us from different diseases and it provides resistance to insects as the person studying horticulture is aware of all these

Horticulture is basically a technique that is similar to agriculture, It is basically farming on a small scale of fruits, plants and vegetables under a cover and monitored surroundings.

Horticulture is a blessing to mankind because people can now grow their own organic food in the four walls of their backyard. This technique converts byproducts of plants in a more effective manner and is more beneficial for the environment as it uses all the nutrients externally. It also helps in the economic status of the country due to increased number of job where farming is not environmentally supported and therefore food and jobs can be acquired from this practice off season.
