.1)  Information and communication technology (IT) has played a major role in globalisation across countries. This has led to great development in telecommunications, computer, internet etc in the recent years

2)  Telecommunication facilities like telegraph, telephone including mobile phones, fax are used to contact one another around the world to access information instantly, and to communicate from remote areas.

3)  This has been facilitated by satellite communication services. Moreover, computers have gained entry in almost all fields without which smooth functioning of organisation is impossible

4)  Therefore, globalisation would not be possible without the expansion of IT. It and globalisation are closely linked to one another.

5)  Internet allows us to send instant email and voice mail across the world in no time and at negligible costs

6)  It is now possible that a project leader in London can assign projects to his/her clients in India with the development of IT
