Ability of eye lens to adjust its focal length to a certain extent to see nearby and far off things clearly is called power of accomodation .

For a normal eye this power ranges from 25 cm to infinity .

So a man with normal eye can see object places at 25 cm and object at infinity with ease .

Eye lens is double convex lens which provides fine adjustments and is elastic .
