How is IT connected globalization ? Would the latter have been possible without the expansion of IT ?
Answers
During the last few years Information Technology (IT) has played an important role in globalisation. Telecommunication facilities have Helped the people to connect to different corners of the world instantly. Internet has dramatically transformed the way in which business is conducted nowadays. Except’- physical movement of products, every other transaction is possible through internet. It has facilitated closer interaction between different countries of the world.
Globalisation would take a long time to happen and would not have been effective and profitable to the participating companies without the expansion of IT. This is.because a long time would be involved in sending information about matters which require quick decision-making and in many cases the decisions would be taken too late to be really effective.
Hey..
There you go!!
Information Technology plays an important role in the expansion of globalisation we can prove it by following examples..
Information technology comes under the service sector which is also known as tertiary sector. As we all know that now the literacy rate is increasing in our country so more and more people are moving to service sector instead of primary and secondary sectors..
Moreover in service sector like IT provides better living conditions, facilities ,more salary etc . That's why here the population is more..
Information technology includes communication. Communication lead to globalisation. That's why information technology is connected with globalisation.
Advancement of Technology like internet ,online services, digital devices are connecting different peoples from different backgrounds so that they can share their common interest. Example online banking i.e., e-banking, foreign trade, online business.etc. are done with the help of information technology.this promotes globalisation.
If IT Sector would not be there so it would be difficult for connecting people from different countries.
