The land is a resource of utmost importance as it has everything one might need. It has soil to grow crops on, and thus grow your own food, and some vegetation that could possibly feed animals. With the animals, when they are of age, you can have meat. You have wood for a fire. You have water.
Without land, you cannot build a house, but when you have land, you have the possibility to do so. You have somewhere to be.
In essence, the land is a natural resource of utmost importance as it provides all that one will need in order to survive.
Hope this helped:)
