How is lightning produced between clouds in the sky

Because .. The clouds bring moisture from the seas or oceans and when they reach a certain level they acquire a charge..
Our atmosphere's level is also charged with the help of winds (and when these two oppositely charged collide [they result in friction]which then releases energy in the form of thunder or Lightning)
