Lok sabha is more power as: 
 
 1. In a democracy, people elected representatives rule the country. In lok sabha, all members are elected by people where as in rajya sabha some members are nominated by president 
 
 2. Rajya sabha is council of states & union territories and lok sabha is house of people. The prime minister himself is a member of lok sabha. 
 
 3. The council of ministers including the prime minister is from lok sabha and the person with majority in lok sabha is prime minister if the majority has no confidence on council of minster they have to quit. Rajya sabha has no say in this. 
 
 4. Lok sabha controls council of ministers. 
 
 
 The lok sabha is known as the house of the people and is the lower house. We may think as it is the lower house it does not have powers but it is not so. The lok sabha is powerful, for example-in money matters the lok sabha enjoys more powers. Money bills or budgets can be introduced only in lok sabha, if lok sabha passes the budget or money bill the rajya sabha cannot reject it, it can only delay it for 14 days. If there is a difference of opinion between both the houses in passing the bills, the decision is taken in a joint session of both the houses. Since the strength of the lok sabha is more than double the strength of rajya sabha the opinion of lok sabha generally prevails in such a meeting, thus the lok sabha is more powerful than the rajya sabha.

Motions of no confidence against the government can be introduced and passed in the Lok Sabha.This is because the Constitution of India has only made the Union Council of ministers responsible to the Lok Sabha, not to the Rajya Sabha.
