An$) ---Since in the lotus self pollination does not take place due to which in this, Cross pollination occurs when beetles are trapped because beetles are attracted towards bright colour flower, within the lotus flower on the first night put pollen already on their bodies from other flower on to the stigma. Once pollen pollen fall on the stigma then, a pollen tube grows through the stigma down to the ovary in which the fertilization occurs then formation of seeds take place, this is how the lotus flower get pollinated.
