when blood flows through blood capillaries some of the plasma wbc and proteins (except rbc) escapes out in the intercellular spaces thus forming lymph...it flows through lymphatic capillaries and is known as tissue fluid.
then the fluid is collected back by the lymphatic capillaries to vessels and then to larger vessels thus flowing back to heart.
