Earthquake is one of the most dangerous natural disasters which causes a lot of destruction.

The magnitude of the earthquake is the intensity amount of an earthquake.

The destruction power of an earthquake is dependent on the magnitude of the earthquake, which means the earthquake magnitude is directly proportional to the destruction power of that particular earthquake.

And higher destruction power increases the possibilities of the building collapses.

In this way the earthquake magnitude is related with the building collapses.
