In simple terms, mass is a measure of inertia of a body. Greater the inertia, greater the mass. Smaller the inertia, smaller the mass.

Interim means the natural tendency of the body to remain in the state of rest or of uniform motion

Heavier objects have more interim than lighter objects

Here the weight is seen so,

Weight of an object = mass of an object
