As we have read in the books that everything in our surrounding is made up of matter even if it is our body or the whole universe. All the things are composed of tiny particles called atoms.

Matter can exist in different states: Scientists classify matter into 3 main states: solid, liquid, gas. Life is composed of, and interacts with, matter in the first three states — we are made of matter in solid, liquid,gaseous forms.
