This is a rational thinking that nothing can be learnt in empty stomach. The system of midday meal in schools has been adopted Keeping this in view. It meant for students of primary schools. A large section of students belonging to low income groups, some even below poverty line. So the purpose is to eat and learn together. However cooking and eating consume aconsiderable amount of teaching-learning hours. It has been a matter of great hope that some NGOs and other non-profit missions are coming forward voluntarily to arrange this tiny taught's meal
