migration is a determinant factor of population change as it changes not only the population size but also the population composition of urban and rural population in terms of age composition.

in India the rural- urban migration has resulted in a steady increase in the percentage of population in cities and towns.

Migration is a determinant factor of population change. The reasons are that migration is of two types internal and international

In internal migration people are moving from one place to another within the country. But in international migration people are coming from outside country and settling in other country by these the population pattern is changing on both side of the country in same way the population density is changing randomly .
