how is migration a determinant factors of population change

Migration is also one of the factors leading to population change as people from rural areas migrate to urban areas to get better facilities (cities) as these provide better facilities in health , employment ,etc. therefore these people migrate here in search of better life as a result it has lead to overcrowding in cities and degradation of land
