Mitochondria can be equipped for maximum ATP generation by increasing the amount of F0 particle reaction and for that it is very necessary that kreb cycle and electron transport system should be undertaken properly inside matrix region

Mitochondrion is known as power house of a cell. Mitochondrion is equipped with all the necessary tools required to generate energy in the form of ATP for the cell.

It produces energy through a process called citric acid cycle. The energy generates is taken by the cell to perform its functions.

Physiologically, the inner membrane of mitochondria has folds called cristae, this is where energy production happens.
