How is motion of an object affected when acted on by a force?

When any external force is applied on any object then there are three cases which may occur.They are


=> The speed of the object may be increase if support is in the same direction i.e. speed of object gets high.

=> If force is in opposite direction object will be back i.e. object's speed becomes decrease.

=> In case the force is from up side then the object may stop i.e. speed becomes 0.
