⟹ Muslim marriage :-
- Muslim marriages are a contract between the spouse , which is solemnised by the recitation of verses ( seegha e Nikaah) in Arabic usually by highly educated well recognised priests , in the presence of witnesses at least two , MEHR , an amount mutually settled, which must be paid by the groom to the bride .
- The amount may be temporarily differed but is a must in the unfortunate case of a divorce .
⟹ Hindu marriage :-
- Hindu marriage is said to be a permanent alliance which is fulfilled by certain rituals like exchange of garlands, recitation of mantras around fire and circumbulating 7 times by the couple to complete the marriage rituals .
- Earlier it was a permanent alliance but now the country's law have given provision of divorce in case the marriage do not work at all .
