- Natural immunity is inherited or transferred from parents to offspring. It is an immunity that is acquired at birth.
- On the other hand, acquired immunity is achieved by the following ways:
- 1. By inoculation: This mainly happens when a person comes in contact of germs. Diseases like typhoid, diphtheria, tuberculosis, measles are caused this way.
- 2. When a person falls sick once: After a person falls sick of any particular disease, the antibodies of particular disease is produced in the body. So the chances of falling sick of that particular disease becomes low.
