how is normal lapse rate calculated? please ? i will mark you brainlist?

normal lapse rate decreases by 1 degree every 162km as we move higher.

AngshumanRoy: for every 165 m the temperature falls by 1°C and this is known as normal lapse rate but how it is calculated???

In this calculator, you have three input values:

Initial Temperature (Tinitial)

Initial Height (zinitial)

Final Height (zfinal)

The algorithm for the whatever it is is:

∆T/∆Z = -(|g|/cp) = -9.8k/km
