Mostly in the poor country of the world, the people do not have enough money to take at least required calories for their children body growth, which is at any cost required for good health, but due to financial problem they are unable to do that.

we can say that obesity and undernourishment are the product of malnutrition.

let's learn from this example, people start their life not taking good amount of calories for the growth of their body and hence become stunted.

where as during their adulthood they will become overweight because they have taken too many cheap calories. ,so in this way we can say that obesity is a kind of malnutrition

The relation between obesity and malnutrition is as follows

Malnutrition is the condition defined as improper nutritional intake of the body. Improper nutritional intake may arise due to deficiency or excess of nutrients.

Deficiency of nutrients leads to underweight condition while excess intake results in obesity.

Obesity is defined as an increased weight of the body with respect to a person's height.

Accordingly, measures should be taken to get back the balanced body weight to remain away from various disorders, which can be lethal at later stages.
