The difference between organised and unorganised sector are as follows:
ORGANISED SECTOR:
1.Organised sector covers those Enterprises or places of work Where the terms of employment are regular and therefore people have assured work.
2.Workers enjoy job security. They cannot be laid off as when the employers wants. There are certain rules and regulations. This sector follows proper rules and regulations like Factories Act ,minimum wages, industrial dispute act, etc.
3. Workers get monthly salary on regular basis.
4.Workers get additional benefits such as leaves, medical benefits, provident fund, gratuity etc.
5. The number of working hours is fixed. If the worker work more they get paid overtime.
UNORGANISED SECTOR:
1.Unorganised sector comprises of small and scattered Units that do not work under the control of the government.
2. Workers do not enjoy job security. They can be laid off anytime by the employer. No rules and regulations are followed in this sector.
3. Workers get wages on daily basis.
4. Workers do not get any additional benefits.
5. The number of working hours is not fixed. Also there is no provision of overtime.
