Answer:

God has distributed wealth disproportionately in the world. However, he expects the 'haves' to extend help to the people who struggle to meet their day to day needs. He wants humans to derive happiness by serving the needy.

Unfortunately, not every human being possesses the necessary generosity to help others. Despite, having enough they are not satisfied. They do not want to help others. Even in the odd circumstances they help, they part with their belongings reluctantly. The primary reason for this is greed. They desire to own more while holding on to what they have. Such greedy persons are never happy.

In the poem ' A legend of the Northland', each time the old lady baked a cake for St. Peter she found it to be too big. Therefore, she did not give it to him. At last, she made a wafer-thin sized cake. Yet, she was reluctant in giving it to St. Peter.

Thus, we get to know how happiness is spoiled by greed.
