Haemoglobin transports oxygen molecule to all the body cells for cellular respiration . The haemoglobin pigment present in the blood gets attached to O2 molecules that are obtained from breathing and thus forms oxyhemoglobin..

dioxide is more soluble in water .

Therefore , it is mostly transported from

body tissues in the dissolved form in our

blood plasma to lungs . It diffuses from

blood to air in the lungs .
