by circulatory system these both are used in our body. circulatory system is divided into three parts : veins , artries and capillaries .

the arteries are the nerves that carry fresh, oxygen rich blood to the cells of the body. these arteries start dividing to form artrioles ,which are more thinner than these and after some distance they start forming cappilaries in which oxygen is absorbed and carbon dioxide is exchanged . the cappilaries are thinner as of the size of 1 cell . they start joining and then forms venules and ultimately , veins . the veins carry the blood that lacks in oxygen towards the heart .

the walls of artries are thicker then the walls of veins . thus they have high pressure . the veins have valves that prevents the backflow of blood . the veins have 3 layered walls : endothelium , exothelium , and one i forget . arteries have 5 layers of wall and the fourth is the most thickest .
