oxygen is mixed with the haemoglobin to form oxyhaemoglobin and which then it reach the tissues it is liberated and the tissue get free oxygen molecules .carbon dioxide has more affinity(u can say bond) of water their food it is transported in dissolved form and some of the carbon dioxide is also transported with blood

Oxygen enters the blood through the lungs and carbon dioxide is expelled out of the blood into the lungs. The blood helps to transport both the gases. Oxygen is carried into the cell. Carbon dioxide is carried away from the cells.
