how is Oxygen and Carbon dioxide transported in human beings? (a) transported of oxygen in human blood
Answers
TRANSPORTATION :-
The process of transporting oxygen and other requirement of the body and to remove wastes from the body is called transportation.
In human blood used for transportation and heart act as pump for the blood.
In blood vessels it reach every part of body.
COMPONENTS OF HUMAN BLOOD :-
1.Red Blood Corpuscles (RBC)
2. White Blood Cells (WBC)
3.Plasma
4.Platelets
HOW OXYGEN AND CARBONDIOXIDE GET TRANSPORTED IN HUMAN BLOOD?
* RBC contain Haemoglobin having high affinity towards oxygen. It holds oxygen and transport it to different parts from the heart by artery and heart goy bloof from lungs by pulmonary vein.
*Carbondioxide get dissolve in plasma of blood and transport to heart from all other parts after which it get to lungs by pulmonary artery.
• In lungs alveoli is there where gasous state and dissolved state of O2 and CO2 get interchange.
• At capillaries oxygenated and deoxygenated blood get change by tissue.
Answer:
Oxygen and Carbon-di-oxide is transported in human being via blood stream. Oxygen is carried to the cells whereas carbon-di-oxide is carried away from the cells. Exchange of gases takes place between the alveoli of lungs and the surrounding blood capillaries. Oxygen is absorbed by the blood capillaries from the lungs alveoli by diffusion while carbon-dioxide is absorbed by the lungs alveoli from blood capillaries by diffusion.
