Oxygen is absorbed by the blood capillaries from the lungs alveoli by diffusion while carbon-dioxide is absorbed by the lungs alveoli from blood capillaries by diffusion. Transport ofoxygen and carbon-dioxideoccurs with the help of respiratory pigment called hemoglobin.

Anupamasrimaa: oook.... diffusion only can't meet the transportation of substances in human being

oxygen is transported by adding with hemoglobin present in red blood cells in our blood and carbon dioxide is mostly transported in liquid form in our body.
