Ozone is beneficial to us because it protect us from sun's  harmful ultraviolet radiations.

It can cause harm to us when ozone gets damaged by human activities such as use of chloroflurocarbons [CFC'S] and vehicular emissions .The UV radiations are so harmful that it can cause skin cancer.

We can preserve ozone layer by avoiding the usage of CFC'S and using public vehicles instead of private ones.
