How is ozone layer formed and how does it protect us?

Ozone means 3 oxygen molecules
It is formed when oxygen molecules combine though it is harmful for humans it protect us from the harmful ultraviolet radiation by absorbing it , since it is harmful so it is up above the surface.

Formation of Ozone : *During Lightning , O2 splits into O+O . One of this combines with O2 [ O+O2=O3 ] and forms Ozone*

Uses : 1.It protects us from the Harmful UV Ray's if the Sun
