*Currency paper is made from cotton and linen fibers. It is known as rag paper or bank notes.

*Currency paper is thin compared to normal paper.

*Currency paper is more resilient, resists wear and tear.

*The average life of a banknote is approximately two years which is comparatively lesser than normal paper
