ATP or adenosine triphosphate is the source if energy of our muscles. As we begin to start a workout, our muscles use ATP stored in them to keep up with our workout, however there is a certain extent to which our muscle cells can store ATP. And as this source of ATP diminishes, our body begins to create ATP.

Now ATP can be created by three ways
1. Creatine phosphate
2. Glycogen
3. Aerobic respiration.

So for this reason our body naturally produces some creatine, it has been producing this for thousands of years, the this production is in all types of living organisms with flesh and blood.

It needs to be replenished using phophocreatine to convert adenosine diphosphate into (ADP) intoATP In the mitochondria of cells in the muscle tissue. To make atp phosphocreatine transfers a phosphate molecule to adp .The newly-formed atp is now available to be used for muscle contaction
